Where do the proceeds go, and what will the organization do with the funds?
Proceeds from the event will go to the host farm’s nonprofit charity or organization of choice. Tri-Fecta Farms has chosen to split proceeds between Dairy’s Foundation and Waupun Area FFA and Agricultural Education Foundation. Dairy Foundation has a vision in which communities across the nation are undergirded by a professional, proactive, prepared dairy industry, collaborating with neighbors, and uniting through educational programs. Dairy’s Foundation supports educational programs aligned with our core objectives. Waupun Area FFA promotes growth by awarding scholarships and business start-up grants to high school FFA members, graduating seniors and undergraduate students that are alumni of the Waupun Area FFA and surrounding area. With your support of our Wisconsin Farm to Table dinner, we have the opportunity to share a special night together and at the same time, make an impact!
What can we do at the dinner?
Enjoy an evening of elegance on a Wisconsin dairy farm. This is an opportunity to take a ride to the countryside and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. When you arrive at the farm, there will be an opportunity to take a farm tour with guides to answer your questions.
Following the tour is a cocktail reception to enjoy a variety of Wisconsin cheeses, wines and beers. Wisconsin chef, Chanse Schomber, the head chef and owner of Entrees by Chef Chanse based in Juneau, will prepare a flavorful five-course dinner to complete the evening’s festivities. Local farmers contributing ingredients to the meal will tell their story, including their farming practices, as attendees enjoy the dishes prepared with their contributions.
What do I wear?
We liken our suggested event attire to the formality level of an outdoor wedding. Knowing summer in Wisconsin can get hot, we recommend preparing for warm temperatures. We suggest sensible shoes as terrain may vary between grass, concrete and gravel.
